Marlene is a rising junior at Brown University concentrating in Economics and Education Studies. She is interested in learning about educational policies in order to one day help tackle the inequalities that shape American education. In particular, she enjoys researching bilingual education and school desegregation efforts. Currently, Marlene is helping Professor Kraft with his project on teachers’ experiences working remotely during COVID-19. She is excited to work on future projects and to continue learning from Professor Kraft!
